I owe you something honest

Dear Nina,

I’m sorry, i'm sorry I said something that made you feel disrespected, I know sorry isnt going to make it better but I will do everyhing i can to try. You deserved care and consideration from me, not things that i should have thought about before saying, and the impact of what i said and how it would make you feel, I’m sorry I caused that hurt & disrespect, I really am.

I’m not asking you to forget it happened by no means can you just do that, it hurt you and i understand that. You have every right to feel what you feel. I regret it, I really do regret it & I’m ashamed I spoke in a way that hurt you, and I’m going to be more thoughtful so I don’t do that again, I promise. The last thing i want to do is to hurt you or make you feel disrepected by me.

If you need space, I’ll respect that. I hope you know this is sincere—and that I care about you and that I will do everything I can to try to make it up to you. I was a dick and I really should have thought about what I was saying before saying it & how it would make you feel.
